Signing a Contract

Do I need a real estate lawyer as well?

If you find yourself in a difficult situation such as an estate sale or foreclosure contacting an attorney may be the best first step. A realtor is not a lawyer and not allowed ot give legal advice so anytime you have questions that cannot be answered by your realtor reach out to your local attorney however, in most cases the realtor you hire should be able to navigate the in's and out's of the purchase or sale without the need of an attorney.

How will you find potential buyers/renters for my property?

I provide a tailored 8 point marketing plan for each property that I work with, this ensures that the property is marketed to the best possible level based on your particular area, community and other factors. I like to use both traditional methods of marketing such as open houses and door knocking while also including lots of up to date and on trend methods such as virtual tours, facebook and other digital marketing.

Suburb Houses

What percentage of the final home sale price do you charge?

Hiring a realtor to sell your home does come with a commission however, studies have shown that selling your home for sale by owner sellers have on average sold for 26% LESS than agent assisted.  The commission on selling your home is based on a lot of factors and is something that can (at times) be negotiated with the buyers during the sale.
